Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the ambitious Jan Arogya Ayushman Bharat Yojana, a healthcare scheme by the central government on 23 September 2018.

Socio-Economic Caste Census
SECC is a study of the socio-economic status of rural and urban households and allows ranking of households based on predefined parameters.
Census in Rural Area has been conducted by the Department of Rural Development (DoRD).
Census in Urban areas is under the administrative jurisdiction of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation (MoHUPA).
Caste Census is under the administrative control of Ministry of Home Affairs: Registrar General of India (RGI) and Census Commissioner of India
An Additional Data Collection Drive (ADCD) for AP-PMJAY was also conducted on 30th April 2018 at Gram Sabha’s in the whole of India to capture active mobile number and ration card number of a family of the Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) database.
If the individual got his/her Mobile number or Ration card number captured during this drive, only then it will show results on the National Health Agency portal.

Ayushman Bharat National Health Protection Mission Agency (AB-NHPMA) implements AB-PMJAY at the national level.

Enter your mobile number and captcha code and click generate OTP as shown image below, a one-time password will be sent to your mobile number.
Enter One Time Password and proceed.
Select your State of Residence and category from the drop-down menu as shown in the image below and proceed.
In case you select to search by name a form appears on your screen, fill your details and press search radio button:
Now result appears on your screen whether you are eligible for Ayushman Bharat Yojana or not
If your name is there in the list, it will show up on the top right-hand side of the page as shown in the image below.
Click on 'Family Details' radio button to find the beneficiary details and information of the family members covered under the scheme.
If your name is not there in the list then try all other available search options one by one.
If the search is successful, the individual has an option to receive a text message with the HHID number/RSBY URN for future purposes on his/her phone by clicking the “Get SMS” button and entering the mobile number.
If no results are displayed, then the user should contact a nearby Ayushmaan Mitra.
