SBI DSP ACCOUNT
SBI is the largest Public Sector Bank in India with around 24000 plus branches and has an overseas presence through its 195 foreign offices spread across 36 Countries. The headquarter of SBI is in Mumbai.SBI signed MoU with Indian army on Defence Salary Package. SBI launched various products exclusively to meet the banking requirements of Defence personals and their families.

ELIGIBILITY:
Only Defence Personnel from Army, Air Force, Navy, Rashtriya Rifles (RR),Assam Rifles and GREF (BRO) are allowed to open accounts under this Scheme.
PMSP:
PMSP is a special salary package for Central Para Military Forces.CENTRAL PARAMILITARY FORCES INCLUDE
- Assam Rifles : (AR) included under DSP
- Border Security Force: (BSF)
- Central Industrial Security Force: (CISF)
- Indo Tibetan Border Police: (ITBP)
- National Security Guard: (NSG)
- Sashastra Seema BAL: (SSB)
- Central Reserve Police Force: (CRPF)
Both DSP and PMSP are available in four variants
- Silver
- Gold
- Diamond
- Platinum
NOTE: Based on the rank of the personnel in his/her organization, the account is categorized into Silver, Gold, Diamond and Platinum. |
Features of DSP Account as well as PMSP Account:
- DSP Account holders need not maintain any minimum balance in their
- salary Accounts.
- Zero issuance charges for ATM Cards including one free add-on card.
- Free unlimited withdrawals across any Banks ATM.
- DSP Account holders are also entitled to free SBI Credit Card with a limit as per eligibility of Individual.
- DSP Account Holders are entitled to free Personal Accidental insurance cover of Rs. 20.00 Lac
- DSP Account Holders are entitled to free Air Accidental insurance cover of
- Rs. 30.00 Lac.
- DSP Account holders can make unlimited free of charge Demand Drafts from
- their salary Account.
- Free of charge RTGS and NEFT facility for funds transfers to any bank within India.
- Free of charge CTS (Cheque Truncation System) Cheque Book both
- Personalized (printed) and Non-Personalized.
- No charges for SMS alerts in DSP account.
- Free and easy access to Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Electronic
- Pass-Books, and e-statement etc.
- DSP Account holders can draw their two-month salary in advance as an overdraft.
- The overdraft amount to be repaid in six months from the date of sanction

- DSP Account Holders can avail special discounts on various loan schemes such as X-Press Personal Loans, SBI Shaurya Home Loan, Car Loans and Education Loans etc.

- DSP Account holder can also open free Demat accounts and invest in mutual funds and Shares.
- SBI offers a discount of up to 25% on locker charges to DSP Account holders.
- SBI offers the Auto sweep facility to DSP account holders which attract higher ratesof interest as compared to regular saving accounts.
- DSP account holders can also earn Reward points by way of SBI Rewardz a loyalty program of SBI.
