Under this Scheme, FCI provides Wheat @ Rs.12 per Kg. Atta @ Rs.13 per Kg. & Rice @ Rs.15 per Kg. to eligible beneficiaries.
Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Food Entitlement Scheme (MMSFES)
Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Food Entitlement Scheme (MMSFES) is launched by Jammu and Kashmir Government to provide additional food grains to the beneficiaries under NFSA, the Government has introduced Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Food Entitlement Scheme (MMSFES) which envisages providing of additional 5 Kg of food grains per soul to eligible beneficiaries having a family size from (01) one to 06 (six) over and above the NFSA scale from 1st of July 2016. Under MMSFES, the food grains are procured at Open Market Sale Scheme (OMSS) Rates from Food Corporation of India and then distributed among the eligible beneficiaries as per the below scale @ Rs.12 per Kg for wheat, Rs.13 per Kg for Atta & Rs.15 per Kg for Rice. Under this scheme the monthly entitlement of ration per family per month is as under:
The consumers in the Jammu and Kashmir are availing subsidy of 50 per cent on ration under Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Food Entitlement Scheme Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Food Entitlement (MMSFES).
